Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Analistable ("we", "us") provides a browser-based workspace that lets you combine spreadsheets from Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel and other sources and ask questions about them in plain language. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
2. Our zero-storage approach
The contents of your spreadsheets — the rows and cells — are loaded and processed directly in your web browser. They are never uploaded to or stored on our servers. When you close the tab, that data is gone from Analistable.
Our free tools (for example, combining Excel or CSV files) work entirely in your browser, with no upload.
3. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and basic profile (name, avatar) when you sign in, including via Google sign-in.
- Model settings: the names of your models, which files or sheets they refer to (IDs and tab names), column names and the links you define between sheets. No spreadsheet rows are stored.
- Connection credentials: when you connect Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics or Search Console, we store an encrypted access credential on our servers so we can fetch your files when you ask. These credentials are never sent to your browser.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (such as browser type and error reports) used to keep the service working and secure.
4. How AI is used
When you ask a question, we send the structure of your data (sheet and column names) and, only if you enable it, a small sample of rows to an AI model. The AI returns a read-only query that runs in your browser against your data. We do not use your data to train AI models.
5. Google user data
If you connect your Google account, Analistable requests read-only access to Google Sheets (and, if you choose, Google Drive file listings, Google Analytics and Search Console) solely to let you select and load your own data into your browser session.
Analistable's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we:
- only use Google user data to provide the features you request in Analistable;
- do not store spreadsheet contents on our servers;
- do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising;
- do not allow humans to read your data, except with your explicit consent, for security, or as required by law;
- do not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models.
You can revoke access at any time from Analistable or from your Google Account permissions.
6. Microsoft user data
If you connect Microsoft, we request read access to your OneDrive/Excel workbooks only to list and load the files you select into your browser. Workbook contents are not stored on our servers, and you can revoke access from your Microsoft account at any time.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Analistable (hosting, authentication, AI processing) under contractual confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep account information and model settings while your account is active. Disconnecting a source deletes its stored credential. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@analistable.com.
9. Security
Connection credentials are encrypted at rest, all traffic uses HTTPS, and access to our systems is restricted. Because your spreadsheet contents stay in your browser, they are never exposed through our servers.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Email hello@analistable.com. See also our Terms of Service.
